Havn't really been in the mood for fanfiction for a while.
I just went back and re-read all that I have posted up - except for the 'Song of Sheep in Dark Long NIght" series. Kinda interesting to go back and read that stuff.
Have been working on some writings here and there so, soon enough I'll have more to add.
And, well, another over-haul for t his LJ shall be done soon - found an awesome new layout to use....

Apparently one of the muses decided to instill in me the need to write again, so i'm slowly coming back in to fanfiction again after being bored with it (and ever-flowing cycle). A few other works are in the works as well.
In taking a break from the GazettE, decided to take a chance and try out a new pairing and fandom: Gackt and Miyavi. Interesting, as I hate almost all Gackt fanfictions and almost never read any involving him unless i feel the need to torture myself. Miyavi, well, although he's not explored much in fiction, i can still find some amusing MYV fictions. I don't think I can write either jrocker very well, but, figured I should at least do this one thing, as it's been in mind for a good while, and, well the song I absolutely love for various reasons and it's been on my mind (and on my winamp shuffle and video shuffle) very often in recent times.

Always had an intrest in making fanvideos, as I love editing. So, along with writing, putting together fan videos/tributes is another hobby, one that I can finally indulge in properly.
With that said, a couple hours ago I finished my first completed fanvideo, or tribute video, as I think is a bit of a better fitting description. Named "Road to the GazettE", it's a tribute of sorts to the success of the Nameless Liberty Six Guns tour Final.
I can only hope it has a good reception and people can enjoy it.

Saved what I ended up not using and thus, this was born.

I've been working on this for a little while now. I'm very curious, and nervous, as to how this is going to be received, as it's not pure yaoi. I'm not sure if something like this has been presented before either. Well, a first time for everything. I'm a little iffy on some of the accuracy of the descriptions in certain spots but, I hope on the whole it works for what it's for. It was a little difficult to write at times, but it was also fun.
It was inspired purely by the name of the song - Ride with the Rockers. And, being that the song is basically Kai and Reita's, there was no choice but to use these two. I'd be unfair otherwise. Although, there is a AoixUruha version somewhat in the works also.
So basically, it's a Ride with the Rockers, Kai and Reita. Let's see how that goes...
so i have to say i'm a little afraid of the potential replies to this. I hope it was at least amusing.... I should have had it beta's also but....

Stacked Rubbish (album) - the GazettE |

So I got my Stacked Rubbish album today - along with the Nil album - I gotta say, it's so exhilarating to have the actual album - to actually own the music, not just have it.
I managed to stay away from all samples and the two pv's: Chizuru and Burial Applicant until I got my copy of the album, so that it was all new when I opened it up and listened to it for the first time.
I'm also content to stay away from any GazettE community of fans as I don't think i'm in the mood quite yet to hear the bullshit that's going on right now surrounding the new album. I have an idea about it all and well, yea, not worth it at the moment.
well, back to writing. (I seem to be on a roll with it these past couple days).

The more I go back and think about what I wrote for 'Song of Sheep In Dark Long Night', the more happy and proud of it I am. I'm really happy with how it turned out - and I was a little worried about it as I was posting, and even writing it. I really consider 'Song of Sheep in Dark Long Night' a success.
"..Listened to the song, read the lyrics translation and watched the performance then everything became clearer and make sense to me.../..Reading each part is like giving me a vague illustration about what these guys possibly thought while performing..."

A litlte bit of a challenge as this is an actual drabble (exactly 100 words). I'm proud I was able to do it, and I'm happy with the results.
It's just a little something I came up with when thinking about the end of the NLSG tour. This is not orignaly yaoi but it has just enough of a touch to it that it can be taken as yaoi.
Ruki is with whoever you envision him to be with. (although, i think it may work better with someone from his band.)

The mindset for this comes from the performance of D.L.N from the NLSG tour. It plays slighty with the meaning of the song (meaning it doesn't play exact to the meaning of the song) it's more inspired by the atmosphere of the performance.
Aside from my love of this song, and a couple of other things, one of the big things I was inspired by was the reactions of each band member in this particular performance. I found it to be of particular intrest, which makes this performance one of thier strongest performances of the concert. There was just something so awe-ing about it, which prompted me to try to replicate what i saw into a piece of fiction writing.
In the end, i'm very happy with what I was able to achive, as writing and completing this series of shorts is my first real foray back into fiction writing.
The final version, after completing a version from each member, Aoi, Kai, Uruha, Reita, .... and now, It's Ruki's, thus ending the loosly connected shorts. The other four versions were meant to be read, in any order, before this final version, Ruki's version, although, as it's not a linear story....

Damn.
man, so hard to put into words what that whole weekend was like. seeing all these bands in person was something that was really just.. sureal. All the bands were fucking awsome in thier own ways, and I can say that for the bands i wasn't too firmilar with - i'm now something of a fan of all the bands - i deifnatly woudn't mind seeing the bands in concert.
there was some negative points - for one thing, i didnt' get pit either night - i was actually robbed of pit the second night - and that's after spending the night outside in the cold on a fucking sidewalk with not all that much in the way of being prepared to do such a thing. now i'm slightly sick because of it . that's pretty much the only negative to the expirence.
anyway, i'm still pretty tired from the two days - i ended up being at the festival from 3am Friday morning to about 11:45pm Saturday night. (the second night ended sooner than the first). I hardly did anything today. Kinda bad when I'm going to be so incredibly busy this comming week. it would had been good to get some things done but - gotta have energy to do things, right?

"Song of Sheep in Dark Long Night" is the piece of writing i've completed after this long absence from writing. It's also my first time writing yaoi, ever. I did it.
I'm going to Jrock Revolution - I got tickets!! Both nights baby! Fuck yea baby!
Better yet - I got Floor Tickets! That means I have a shot at being right in front for the entire concert!
Oh I will definatly be camping out in front all damn day - especially night one - i'm not about to miss a chance at being at the very front - and I mean very front - as in - on the barracades front!
Fucking hell i'm so fucking excited!
Most excited to see Miyavi and Kagrra, and hear Yoshiki's annoucment live with my own ears!! Ah man this is a good day - despte waking up at 6:30 in the fucking morning - that was not cool. Now i'm tired as hell, which isn't good for the stuff I have to get done to day, not to mention I have work tonight.... bleh.
but whatever, my shitty shift i have tonight (and i know it's going to be bad) can't bring down my spirits - i'm in to good of a fucking mood.
